How to choose e liquid flavor? Before we move on to specific flavors of e-liquids, we should learn what ingredients are in most vape juices. The good news is, it’s usually the same substances with tiny differences. The components that can be found in e-juices include water, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycol (VG), sweeteners, natural and/or artificial flavorings, and sometimes nicotine.
The most crucial ingredients that will influence the taste of each e-juice are flavorings. Some of them are really simple – strawberry, mint, tobacco, apple, and similar. Others, though, consist of multiple layers. In these cases, you end up tasting such complicated blends as Fried Dough with Cinnamon Banana Pudding, Rich Poundcake & Sweet Vanilla Icing, Fried Yellow Cream Cake, or Peanut Butter & Banana Jelly Toast.
It is worth remembering that sweeteners will also have an enormous impact on the taste of the flavor. Their type will also matter. Sucralose, the most popular sweetener, is very intense, and some vapers hate the distinctive “sugar lips” aftertaste it leaves. For those users, ingredients like erythritol, ethyl maltol, and stevia will be much more suitable as they create much more subtle notes and don’t overpower the whole e-juice.
Think about what you like
The most straightforward road to learning what kind of vape juices will be a gigantic hit with you is to look at your taste. What foods do you like? Is there some product that you absolutely hate? Figure out what your taste buds love and what they don’t particularly appreciate, and follow the lead. If you smoked before and love the taste of traditional cigarettes, chances are you should start with tobacco-flavored e-liquids. Do you hate bananas and pineapples? Then stay away from all the tropical flavors that may include them. Do you salivate at the mere thought of pancakes with whipped cream? But is it worth remembering that some manufactures offer sample kits where you will find several flavors in smaller packages. They’re perfect for figuring out if you like specific flavor profiles and blends. Use them to discover what you prefer and what you absolutely cannot stand in your vape juices.
Mind the VG/PG ratio
Please note that the e-liquid base will also affect its taste. The ratio of vegetable glycerin to propylene glycol will have a fairly substantial effect not only on the size of the cloud but also on the strength of the flavor. Since VG has a slightly sweet taste in itself, it will also add some sweetness to the mixture if used in higher concentrations.

Of course, if you have a little bit more time and there’s a vape store in your area, you may pop into this place in person. Usually, the shops provide samples of some flavors that customers can check out throughout their visit.
