- Base liquid
Base liquid is made of two substances we all know – vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). The ratio of these ingredients will have a vital influence on the overall performance of your DIY e-juice, so choose wisely. Among the most popular proportions are such classics as 70/30 or 50/50. - Flavor concentrates
Many people will say that flavorings are the most crucial element of your mix. It’s hard to disagree! The concentrates will have the most significant impact on the final taste of your blend. Of course, the taste of the e-juice is highly subjective, but one thing to keep in mind is to stay away from any essential oils and flavorings that are not used in DIY juices. Stick to tried and tested ingredients that already worked for other vapers. - Sweeteners
If you aim to create a delicious and sugary flavor, you will probably want to add some sweeteners, which will boost the flavor. Among the most popular ones, you will find sucralose, erythritol, ethyl maltol and stevia. Remember that even a tiny amount can have an enormous impact on the flavor, and be careful which ingredient you pick, as some of them can ruin your coils pretty quickly. - Nicotine

The second popular way is mixing by volume, and for this method, you will need some large syringes for each ingredient. One of the downsides of this solution is less accuracy. You will also be left with a bigger mess and more cleaning when you’re finished.
